DENVER (CBS4)- A man accused of breaking into his ex-wife’s home and causing thousands of dollars in damage was found guilty of all counts by a Denver jury on Wednesday.
Jurors deliberated for about six hours before they found Ronald Smith guilty of second-degree burglary and criminal mischief.
In the arrest affidavit, Smith’s ex-wife, Michelle Smith, claimed he broke into her home in Sept. 2010 and poured bleach on the piano, erased her computer’s hard drive, damaged the hard wood floors with bicycle shoes and placed rotten chicken carcasses in the air vents.
Smith faces up to 18 years in prison when he is sentenced Nov. 18.
