FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) – Fort Collins officials and Colorado State University are seeking a $10,000 grant to determine the economic impact of bicycles.
Researchers say they want to study the city’s bike lanes, recreation trails and bicycle parking.
The Fort Collins Coloradoan says the grants are being provided by Bikes Belong, an organization sponsored by the U.S. bicycle industry with the goal of increasing cycling. The organization is based in Boulder and has a $2.5 million annual operating budget.
