Denver Police ID Victim Of Fatal Shooting On Lincoln Street
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police have identified the victim of a deadly shooting.
Police were called to the corner of 8th Avenue and Lincoln Street at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Detectives say two groups of people were arguing when someone pulled out a gun and shot a man, identified by the coroner as Marquez Jones, 24, of Aurora.
Jones was transported to Denver Health Medical Center where he died.
Two people were arrested but were later released. Their identities haven't been released.
