DENVER (CBS4) – Police in Denver are investigating a deadly shooting that happened just after midnight Saturday.
Officers heard gunshots in the area of Park Avenue and Lawrence Street. When they arrived they found a woman who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds. She was rushed to Denver Health Medical Center where she died.
The woman’s death is being investigated as a homicide. Police do not have a suspect description.
Police have learned there was a fight involving a group of people. During the fight someone fired multiple shots striking the victim.
