DENVER (CBS4) – Colorado is home to three of the Top 100 universities in the country, according to the new rankings from U.S. News & World Report.

In the National Universities category the Colorado School of Mines tied for 75th with five other schools. The University of Denver was 82nd and the University of Colorado Boulder tied for 94th.

Denver’s Regis University was 31st for the Best Regional Schools in the West. Colorado College tied for 27th for the Best National Liberal Arts Colleges and the Air Force Academy tied for fifth for Undergraduate Engineering Schools.
