‘Tour De Fat’ Draws Huge Crowd In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) – Thousands of biking enthusiasts pedaled their way around Denver on Saturday for the Tour de Fat bicycle parade.

Many wore costumes on the route, which started in City Park and then wound through Cheesman Park and passed the Capitol on its way back to City Park.

The tour was made possible by New Belgium Brewing Company, which supports Bike Denver and The Denver Cruisers.

Last year’s Tour de Fat raised more than $330,000 for local cycling nonprofits.
