AFA Honors Past & Present Heroes
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - The Air Force Academy honored past and present heroes on the weekend of the 10-year anniversary of 9/11.
The Academy dedicated a permanent memorial on their campus made from a World Trade Center girder.
The base of the memorial is in the shape of a pentagon, inscribed with the words World Trade Center, The Pentagon and Shanksville, PA to denote the three places attacked on 9/11.
