DENVER (CBS4) – East Colfax Avenue in Denver is about to get a $2 million makeover.

Improvements will begin next month on Colfax between Grant and Columbine streets. It includes more than 100 new street lights, along with curb and gutter work.

It’s hoped the improvements will draw more businesses and customers to the area.

Work is expected to be finished by next April.

Until the city of Aurora cleans up the crime and gets rid of the low-life ghetto thugs, there will be no new business. Aurora is a cess pool of low income, high crime parasites. With the development of Stapleton, I would hope city officials would take steps to clean up this city and let the ones who perpetuate criminal activity know that it will not be tolerated. Wake up Aurora. Clean up this hell hole.
