Investigators Seize 10 Pounds Of Heroin

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) – The federal Drug Enforcement Administration and authorities in Pueblo have arrested 24 people after they seized more than 10 pounds of black tar heroin.

Acting special DEA agent Kevin R. Merrill said five more suspects are being sought, all on various drug charges.

Authorities said in addition to the heroin, investigators confiscated more than $43,000 in cash, two handguns, and 12 vehicles.
