Police: Toddler Death Is Suspicious

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are investigating the death of an 18-month-old girl. They believe her death to be suspicious.

Officers responded at about 7:05 a.m. Wednesday to a home at 10150 East Virginia Avenue on a report of a toddler not breathing . The girl was rushed to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Officers said they saw bruises on the child. Her name is not being released during the investigation.

No arrests have been made. Police are awaiting autopsy results to determine how the toddler died.

Who was at the home and watching the child has not been released.
