Better Start Training For The Sports Authority Rock 'N Roll Marathon
DENVER (CBS4) - Runners should already be training because before they know it the Sports Authority Rock 'n Roll Marathon will be here.
Once again CBS4 is a proud sponsor of the event and this year there are some exciting new changes.
As always, the run starts and ends in Civic Center Park. The course has been modified to make it more runner friendly, especially towards the end. The route also goes farther south near the University of Denver to make the run more scenic.
Organizers also changed the course to minimize the effect on traffic and bus routes.
"So that was kind of the main impetus," Director of Operations Alan Culpepper said "We need to make the experience for the runners better. But also it was better for the citizens and for the communities."
