Construction Project Gets Going On Pena Near DIA
DENVER (CBS4) - A four month long construction project is starting up near Denver International Airport this week.
The project will more than likely affect the drive to the airport for most travelers.
Construction started Monday morning on Pena Boulevard from 64th Avenue to just before Tower Road.
Crews will construct a temporary two lane detour. Once that's finished at the end of the month the regular lanes will be closed.
Throughout the construction speeds will be reduced from 65 to 45 mph.
