BERTHOUD, Colo. (AP) – A 32-year-old man has died while riding a jet boat on Carter Lake.

According to witness, the man fell off a jet boat he was operating with two passengers. After struggling to re-board the vessel, the man lost consciousness.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office says nearby boaters saw the incident and took the man to a boat ramp, where efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.

The identity of the victim has not been released pending the notification of his family.
