Aspen Peak Cellars Barn In Conifer Destroyed By Fire

CONIFER, Colo. (CBS4) - Lightning sparked a fire that destroyed a barn in Conifer that's been around for a long time.

The barn at Aspen Peak Cellars had been a fixture for 135 years until Tuesday's storm.

The barn was used quite often as an event space. The property also houses a winery and bed and breakfast -- those buildings survived the fire.

The owner said the fire was fast and destroyed the barn in just 10 minutes.
