Salida Police Arrest Suspected Bank Robber
SALIDA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Salida have arrested a man they believe robbed a bank on Thursday. It's the first bank robbery in the small Colorado town the chief of police can remember in 26 years.
At about 9 a.m. a man walked into the Bank of the West location at Second and G streets, handed the teller a note demanding cash and ran away with some money.
Timothy O'Brien, 45, was arrested about eight hours later. Police had been investigating him on an unrelated theft charge.
