Driver At Large After Hitting Woman In Wheelchair

DENVER (CBS4) – Denver police are asking for help tracking down a hit-and-run driver who struck a woman in a wheelchair.

The incident happened Thursday at about 11:30 p.m. on South Holly near Evans.

Police say the driver hit a woman and took off.

When police arrived they found the woman on the road.

She was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators are asking for anyone who may have seen the accident to give them a call.

    Hit the driver with an iron pipe and then run.

    I hope she heals fully. In my neighborhood, curtis park, people in those electric chairs use the streets instead of sidewalks, its a smoother ride.
