Man Accused Of Kidnapping 8-Year-Old Appears In Court
DENVER (CBS4) - The man accused of kidnapping a Denver 8-year-old was back in court Wednesday morning.
Bret Thompson is charged with kidnapping and sexual assault. Prosecutors say he kidnapped an 8-year-old girl who was playing with a friend in an alley behind South Raleigh Street. She was found 90 minutes later at a gas station on federal.
After a nationwide manhunt, police arrested Thompson sleeping in his van in New Jersey.
