Ready To Ride
I'm certainly ready "mentally" to ride, but the "physical" part is yet to be determined.
We have the gear and the desire – so we'll see how far that takes us.
Seriously, I'm excited and honored to be part of the MS 150 bike ride.
CBS4 has put together a great team and I'm proud that our station is supporting a cause that is so dear to my heart.
One of my dearest friends has MS, and because of her, and so many others staying strong with MS, I want to help.
So tomorrow morning – when the sun comes up, I'll be joined with my husband – Jimmy, my co-anchor Jim Benemann and some 3,000 other riders as we start the first of 150 miles in two days.
A big thank you to all of you who donated to the cause!
It means the world to me.
I'll report back early next week with pictures and an update of how things went.
