Baby Born In Breckenridge 7-Eleven Parking Lot

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4)- A newborn has earned the nickname "Big Gulp" after he came into this world in the 7-Eleven parking lot. Hunter Cravener's mother, Lisa, is a labor and delivery nurse at Summit Medical Center and the EMT who delivered Hunter is pregnant.

Hunter's parents said they were on their way to the hospital when Hunter decided he just wasn't going to wait.

The couple pulled over at the convenience store and called 911. The ambulance was just 400 yards away.

"He's stubborn and has his own way of coming into the world," said Hunter's mother, Lisa Cravener.

While his birth may have been unconventional, Hunter is perfectly healthy. He weighed in at seven pounds 12 ounces and is 20 inches long.
