Sheriff Bans Tubing In Poudre River
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Tubing in the Poudre River is now banned.
The Larimer County Sheriff says the water is too dangerous right now.
Any one caught violating the ban could get hit with a $100 fine.
The sheriff says that in addition to running high and fast because of all the snowmelt, there's lots of debris in the water.
The ban does not affect commercial rafters or kayaks.
