Murder-For-Hire Case Could Be Settled Soon
DENVER (CBS4) - A murder-for-hire case could be resolved by the end of the week after a plea deal was reached on Tuesday.
Brooks Kellogg, 73, had been living in Steamboat Springs and owned a business there. He was arrested at Denver International Airport.
Kellogg is accused of trying to kill a man he had lost more than $2 million to in a previous lawsuit involving his real estate business.
Kellogg's attorney would not comment on Tuesday's court filing.
