Grass Fire Burning In Peyton

PEYTON, Colo. (CBS4)- Firefighters battling a grass fire in Peyton near Murphy and Bradshaw in El Paso County have it 80 to 90 percent contained. Smoke can be seen for miles in all directions.

Firefighters said 200 acres burned. The cause of the fire is being investigated.

Copter4 flew over the burned area Thursday afternoon. A large patch of blackened grass land could be seen from the air.

It's unknown if any structures are threatened.
