B-Cycle Program Delayed, Bicycle Share With Boulder Coming Soon
DENVER (CBS4)- It will still be about another month until those red bicycles are riding all around the metro area. The second season of the B Cycle program has been pushed back to March 14 instead of the original date of March 1.
B Cycle is using the additional two weeks to make improvements to the system so everything runs smoothly once the program gets underway for the season.
Some of the improvements include new color LCD screens with rapid response. The minimum age has been lowered to 18 years old.
Annual memberships purchased last year will be given a 2 week extension on the expiration date.
The B-Cycle program is growing to include Boulder. It launches in May with 25 B-Stations located around Boulder.
Memberships to the program will be honored at both Denver and Boulder B-Cycle stations.
Those who don't have a membership can get a sweetheart deal now through Feb. 14. Buy one annual membership for $65 and get the second one free. At least one of the memberships must be new. Offer ends Feb. 14.
