DENVER (CBS4)- Pirates are sailing into the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The new exhibit gives visitors a look at life in the 18th Century Caribbean.

“Real Pirates: The Untold Story of the Whydah from Slave Ship to Pirate Ship” opens Friday, March 4.

Visitors to the exhibit will discover the perils and privileges of pirate life with more than 200 artifacts recovered from the wreck of the Whydah, the first fully authenticated pirate ship ever to be discovered in U.S. waters.
