EDWARDS, Colo. (CBS4) – Investigators believe four suspects involved in a jewelry heist in Eagle County are the same people who stole $30,000 worth of jewelry in Vail.
The Vail robbery happened at Lionshead Jewelers in December.
Police said two suspects distracted workers while another reached into a case grabbing a necklace and ring.
The same thing happened at Portofino Jewelry in Riverwalk near Edwards.
Police described two of the robbers as in their mid 40’s and the other two robbers as in their mid 20’s. All had dark complexions.
If they got balls to pull that off in Vail then let them have it. unless it was a hold up part of the blame should be on the employee. he or she was probably in on it. you know ….50/50.
