Much-Debated Fillmore Plaza Project To Break Ground

DENVER (Denver Business Journal) - Construction on the controversial redevelopment of Fillmore Plaza in Denver's Cherry Creek North retail district will start with a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, the Denver Business Journal reports.

The $2.5 million plaza upgrade will include adding vehicle traffic through the plaza by extending Fillmore Street, as well as limited street parking, and is expected to be completed by the July 4 weekend, the DBJ's Paula Moore writes.
