Supects In Monument Girl's Death Plead Not Guilty

DENVER (CBS4) - Two people accused of killing a 9-year-old girl in Monument both pleaded not guilty on Friday.

Monique Lynch is accused of first-degree murder. Hanif Sims is charged with child abuse resulting in the death of his daughter.

The body of Genesis Sims was found buried in the crawl space of a duplex in May when workers were installing a sump pump.

The couple lived at the house in December of 2008.
