BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman CBS4 introduced to viewers when a wildfire destroyed her home last year has died of leukemia.

Bobra Goldsmith was known around the country as the "Llama Lady." A fire destroyed her home in Boulder County in January 2009. It took months to rebuild her home but she never left her llamas.

Goldsmith died last week shortly after being diagnosed with an acute form of leukemia.

A friend said Goldsmith's work with the llamas will continue.
