Colorado offers ample opportunities to participate in a wide variety of sports. Well known for being a recreational destination, many of our residents move here to take advantage of all of our sporting opportunities. Regardless of the time of year, there is always something athletic to do, from adventure sports such as kayaking and white water rafting, to winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding, to more traditional sports such as hockey, volleyball and tennis. However, participating in sports can be an expensive hobby. Fortunately, there are several stores in the Denver area to buy gently used sporting goods for less than new ones.

The store allows customers to buy, sell and trade gently used merchandise including snow shoes, back country skis, apparel and accessories. All merchandise must be high quality and in decent repair. In addition, they do not consign climbing equipment, as this could potentially be unsafe. Wilderness Exchange Unlimited also offers overstock, close-out and cosmetically flawed equipment for up to 20 – 60 percent off retail. This is a great place to go if you are just starting out in these types of sports, or  if you just want to replace your equipment without spending a lot.
