One of the biggest traditions for New Year's Eve in Denver are the fireworks celebrations on the 16th Street Mall. You can catch this show from just about any spot along the mall, any of the neighboring communities and lots of the hotels in the area. The best spots for viewing are on the mall, however, so bundle up and join the crowd for this annual fireworks show. There are two shows each year, one at 9 p.m. and one at midnight, which allows children a chance to see the fireworks early and then get to bed so the parents can celebrate.

Watch Fireworks on TV

The truth is that some people do not enjoy going out on New Year's Eve. It is usually crowded and cold, not to mention the worries about drivers. Sometimes, the best way to enjoy the holiday is to stay home with your loved ones, pop some popcorn, enjoy a glass of champagne and watch the festivities on television, including the Ball Drop in Times Square.
No need to fight the crowds, just ring in the holiday with those you love the most.
