Take a flight to sample small sips of each brew or bring your growler and get a take-home tasting of your favorite. This brewery has an intimate seating area, so you and your dad can do some bonding, or have a seat on the patio and enjoy the summer weather. River North Brewery does not have a kitchen so you may want to take your dad for lunch or dinner prior to your visit.

Located in the Highlands, it’s easily accessible, and the food is excellent as well. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot has a small seating area with tables and booths as well as a patio with views of LoDo. Its menu features standard items including burgers served up on English muffins. A relatively new venue, this one will serve up some excellent memories for you and your dad. It also offers Rockies tickets giveaways on Saturdays from 1-4 p.m., so pop in a day early.

A Wash Park favorite, Spot Bar & Grill has a neighborhood feel, serving up drink specials and food. The bar has TVs placed strategically in the bar area, but it’s not a sports bar, so you won’t be screaming over the crowd. It is very casual and laid back and is located within walking distance of other bars and restaurants. The staff is fast and friendly, and the food is good and affordable. If your dad is the type who enjoys classic cocktails or never strays from his favorite beer, make this your Father’s Day celebration destination.

Don’t let the book store façade fool you. Williams and Graham is a speakeasy themed bar. You have to talk to the shop clerk to gain access to the bar but once you’re in, you and your dad can choose from a full cocktail menu with excellent drinks. The bar features whiskey from all over the world, as well as other fine spirits, so you can be certain that you and your dad will enjoy whichever drink you choose. There’s also a good selection of food on the menu. The bartenders at Williams and Graham are all about creativity, so if you and dad are up for anything, ask them to surprise you and choose your drink for you.
