Denver has one of the most diverse, far-reaching and celebrated musical communities in the country. From rock to punk to hip-hop to EDM, there is a place to hear live music every night of the week. The EDM scene has many passionate participants as well as talented musicians, though there aren't many clubs that cater to the genre specifically, it is quite possible to hear quality EDM almost anywhere if you look. The following clubs made a point to book and play EDM specifically on certain evenings, catering to the burgeoning community.

Though Beta is located in the heart of Lower Downtown in a sea of bars and clubs, it stands alone in both sound and musical quality. As one of the only venues left in Denver that caters almost exclusively to EDM music, Beta has the market cornered. The banging sound system and pristine line-up of killer DJs continues to keep Beta in EDM fans' minds as one of the best electronic venues in the country. One of the venue's owners is also the founder of Beatport, which is a highly popular electronic music sharing site, and this insider knowledge of the genre is what makes Beta so successful.

Though Cervantes' Other Side offers a wide variety of live music to fit all tastes, its Electronic Music Tuesdays definitely caters to the EDM fans. The recurring night was put together by sub.mission, a well-known electronic music collective. Every Tuesday features EDM from a variety of artists both locally and nationally recognized, making Cervantes' Other Side a dancer's destination on a Tuesday evening.

The 1up is quickly becoming a hot spot in Denver. From a full bar, numerous arcade games and now a live music venue, there is not much that 1up doesn't have. The Colfax location is newly renovated to include a stage and sound system, and it has been booking an eclectic mix of acts. More recently, it has been catering to the EDM crowd, booking talent like Dynohunter, Rustie and many more. The weekly installment, RE:UP Wednesdays, showcases a variety of EDM names, making The 1up a perfect place to dance every Wednesday.
