Denver is not the easiest city in which to find good parking, especially in the winter months when plows push all that extra snow onto the curbs. Sure, it’s not as difficult as San Francisco or New York, but there is a limited amount of space. Parking at a meter means you’ll be going out to feed it every hour, and private parking lots can get really pricey and are quick to dole out hefty ticket fines for cars who stay past certain times. You can always drive around in search of the elusive free parking spot, but you’ll probably end up on your date’s bad side if she has to walk 12 blocks in four-inch stilettos. Why worry about your car’s security sitting on a side street? Avoid the hassle, time and stress involved with driving around aimlessly and opt for valet service. Here are some great clubs in Denver that offer valet parking.

Save the environment, one dance move at a time. Not only will you save gas by utilizing Beta’s valet service, but you’ll also be patronizing a nightclub that prides itself on being 100 percent sustainable. The motto here is “club culture evolving,” and Beta takes this mantra seriously by providing recycling bins throughout the club, using sustainable materials for the decor, and utilizing energy-saving LED panels for the club’s lighting effects. In addition to being an eco-friendly party haven, Beta Nightclub also features the most contemporary DJs in Denver in a venue with an unrivaled sound system. In fact, the nightclub even goes so far as to employ its own full-time “sound engineer” to ensure you’re grooving to only the best quality beats. If you want a high energy club filled with young adults, this is the place to go. Valet parking is available for at the Wynkoop Garage on 1660 Wynkoop Street.

With two locations in LoDo and the Denver Tech Center, both with valet parking, Denver’s Comedy Works is one of the best places for date night or a few laughs with friends. Since 1981, Comedy Works has seen some of the best comedic talent in the nation grace its stages. The LoDo location has an intimate, basement-type vibe while the DTC venue, which recently opened in 2008, can house quite a few more audience members in a bigger, more theater-like setting. For LoDo comedy club goers, there is $4 valet parking available in Larimer Square at the Writer’s Square Parking Garage right around the corner at 1512 Larimer Street. The DTC location at The Landmark in Greenwood Village has complimentary valet parking on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings after 4 p.m. Regardless of which location you visit, be sure to bring some extra dough, because there is a two drink/food minimum per person.

This is a place to hang, nosh and chill at all night long.  Take a load off in Ponzano’s secluded lounge and post up at the bar, a hightop table or a comfy booth for some antipasta and full-bodied wine-by-the-glass. Happy hour is hosted every day from 2 – 6:30 p.m. in the lounge with plates from $4 to $6 with $3 beers, $4 wines and $5 specialty drinks. Dine, drink and play
Cherry Creek Shopping Center

3000 East 1st Ave.
Denver, CO 80206
(303) 388-3900

While a shopping center may seem an atypical place to spend the evening, Denver area residents know that Cherry Creek isn’t your average mall. It not only houses its own entertainment; it’s also surrounded by it, including a movie theater, restaurants and numerous bars and lounges. Grab sushi and cocktails for happy hour at Kona Grill, pasta and wine at Brio Tuscan Grille, or steak and beer at Elway’s before catching the latest blockbuster or crossing 1st Ave. for some mini-bowling at Milwaukee St. Tavern. You can also head to the Cherry Cricket to catch the game, Brandon’s Pub for a pint or down the steps to mimiBAR for tapas and specialty cocktails. The Shopping Center’s valet can be found just off First Avenue by Neiman Marcus and charges $8 for two hours plus $2/hour for additional time.
