For a baseball fix, most Denver residents automatically think of the Rockies, but we have a AAA team a mere 90 minutes away. The Colorado Springs Sky Sox (the AAA affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers) play games from April through October, and the venue makes for a fun day out with the family. With many other activities in and around Colorado Springs, it's easy to hit up a game and make a weekend of it. The Sky Sox also host many promotional games as well, making the games more fun for the whole family. However, the team is moving to San Antonio in 2019, so swing down in the next few seasons before they're gone.

Food

Security Service Field has plenty of dining options for the whole family. Along with concessions that serve up typical stadium faves, the field also offers catering services to patrons in the suites. If you purchase a picnic package, you and your party can enjoy a buffet in the stadium's climate controlled picnic terrace, which also offers excellent views of the field. Outside food is not permitted within the park. If concessions aren't your thing, be sure to check out the Hall of Fame Grill.
