The Rio Grande Mexican Grill has a reputation for a very strong margarita (their recipe is secret). The Denver Rio is a starting spot for many partyers looking to kick off the night. The margs are made with Jose Cuervo Gold and with grenadine or fresh lime juice, not sweet and sour. A regular size margarita is 12 oz, but for lightweights mini margaritas are available. The margaritas come in strawberry and mango as well as regular and are either on the rocks or frozen. Asking for sugar on the glass of a frozen strawberry margarita is a great touch.
