It’s Friday night and you’re wondering where to go for dinner with your significant other. Boulder has so many options it can be difficult to decide. Boulder was recently named the foodiest town in America and we understand why.

Brasserie Ten Ten

1011 Walnut Street
Boulder, CO 80302
(303) 998-1010

This is one of our favorite restaurants because it always has a nice crowd and the food is always delicious. Brasserie offers French cuisine and a wide selection of wines to go along with it. My favorites on the menu are the French onion soup, steak frites and the ham crepes. The desserts are also just as good as the entrees so try the Profiteroles before your night is over.

Jax Fish House

928 Pearl Street
Boulder, CO 80302
(303) 444-1811

If you are in the mood for seafood, Jax has the best in town. The grilled blue crab cakes or the curried shrimp egg rolls are a great way to start off your meal. The menu changes often, but the sea scallops are one of my favorite dishes.

1710 29th Street
Boulder, CO 80301
(303) 442-1300

When you want dinner and a movie, Laudisio is the place to go.  They are located at 29th Street Mall just steps from the cinema. If you are in a hurry, the bar menu has a number of great options including the margherita pizza, calamari fritti and steamed mussels.  If you have more time they have a large dinner menu. Some of my favorites are the fresh fettuccine funghi and seared sea scallops and artichoke risotto.

The Kitchen

1039 Pearl Street
Boulder, CO 80302
(303) 544-5973

The Kitchen simply offers one of the best dinners in Boulder. They specialize in organic food grown by local farmers and ranchers.  The menu changes often, but my latest favorite appetizer is the Colorado brussels sprouts. They usually offer the hand rolled gnocchi on the menu. The fish of the day is always a good choice, but I haven’t had one bad dish here ever.
