The Ellie is my favorite space in town. It's big, comfortable, rich in wood and color and the acoustics are great. Gates Concert Hall at the Newman Center on the DU campus runs a close second.

The Buell is not my favorite space, but I see so damned much stuff there I felt like I had to add it. Though the acoustics are good, as are the sight lines, I can't say I'm ever very comfortable there. I don't like the seats and I always want more leg room. Which is interesting, as my legs are incredibly short.

I appreciate the intimacy of the Denver Center's small, in-the-round, theater. I could watch just about anything here.

An old church. I just love how they've used the space. Very intimate. Very inviting.
