Andrea FloresAndrea Flores is an Emmy-nominated reporter and anchor for CBS4 News. 

Andrea was born and raised in Southern California, but is happy to call Colorado home!

She joined the CBS4 team in 2016 as a general assignment reporter. She considers herself as a “Jill of all Trades.” Andrea reports, anchors news and traffic, and is now involved with CBS4’s 24-hour news streaming service, CBSN Denver.

Andrea previously worked in Omaha, Nebraska at KMTV, and in Lincoln, Nebraska at KOLN, as an anchor, reporter, and producer. While in Lincoln, Andrea received the Marsha Bangert Williamson Memorial Award from The National Federation of the Blind for her work on a story that revealed how city construction affected the blind and visually-impaired.

Her first on-air job was in Amarillo, Texas at KVII. She was a midday anchor, general assignment reporter, and producer.

Andrea’s first job in news was behind the scenes at KCBS in Los Angeles as a production assistant. She was also an undercover content producer for the Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter David Goldstein. She rounded out her time at KCBS as a talent booker and content producer for in-studio segments.

She graduated from the University of California, Davis with degrees in Communication and Spanish.

In her spare time, Andrea loves running, hiking, cooking, trying new restaurants, and international travel.
