Starbucks Location In Superior Unionizes
SUPERIOR, Colo. (CBS4) - A group of Starbucks baristas in Superior is the first to unionize in Colorado. Employee at the Rock Creek Circle location voted in favor of forming a local chapter of the Service Employees International Union.
It's part of a push for higher wages, looser rules surrounding tips and more scheduling options.
Five other Starbucks locations in Denver and Colorado Springs are considering unionizing.
