VAIL, Colo. (CBS4)– The Vail Police Department is bringing back its K9 officer program. The department hired Rebecca Anderson from the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.

Anderson and her K9 Echo have been together since 2018. Echo specializes in drug recognition.
The two will focus on patrolling I-70. This is the first time the Vail Police Department has had a K9 since 2007.
