BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Boulder Police determined a suspicious package which caused U.S. 36 to be closed on Friday night was a modified, weighted jump rope. The highway was closed between Baseline and Table Mesa heading east, and between Baseline and Foothills Parkway heading west.

Some homes were also evacuated for several hours.
