High Line Canal Conservancy

Walk, bike, run or roll on the High Line Canal while raising critical funds for the people who help care for it. The “Walk For the Canal” fundraiser continues into October. People are encouraged to go to highlinecanal.org/walk to register their recreational experience and/or volunteer.

The canal is more than 71 miles long and runs through hundreds and hundreds of acres of the Denver metro area.

“Its meandering trail connects 11 distinct communities and really diverse populations that make up the Denver region,” said Harriet LaMair, the executive director of the High Line Canal Conservancy. “With more than 350,000 residents living within a mile and another 500,000 trail users each year.”

The funds raised during “Walk For the Canal” will go towards improvements to the canal that were requested by the public.
