Avs Unable To Re-sign Goalie Philipp Grubauer
DENVER(CBS4) - A day after reaching a deal with captain Gabe Landeskog, the Avs were unable to do the same with goalie Philipp Grubauer.
Grubauer is heading west to join the expansion Seattle Kraken. The 29-year old signed a six-year, $35.9 million deal.
Grubauer was the Avs top goalie last season posting a .922 save percentage and 1.95 goals against average. He was a finalist for the Vezina trophy ultimately won by Marc-Andre Fleury.
