Denver Water Main Break Floods Park Hill Streets
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Water has stopped a major water main break in Denver's Park Hill neighborhood. Water was flowing for nearly an hour before crews were able to stop the leak.
It happened at MLK Boulevard and Glencoe. A 12-inch water main broke and sent water gushing into the streets. 11 homes are without service while Denver Water repairs the pipe.
Denver Water stated at around 9:45 p.m. they expect water to be restored to residents by midnight, however repairs and cleanup will continue on westbound lanes of MLK Blvd. on Wednesday causing lane closures.
