Avalanche Banners Hang On Larimer Square Ahead Of NHL Playoffs

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver is catching hockey fever ahead of the first round of the NHL Playoffs. The Colorado Avalanche host the St. Louis Blues Monday night at Ball Arena.

Larimer Square hoisted the banners, which have players' numbers on them.

The Avalanche won the President's Trophy, which is awarded to the team with the most regular season points. With that win, the Avs will have home-ice advantage throughout their 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs run.
