Power Outages Prompt Jeffco Public Schools To Close Evergreen, Conifer School Buildings
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Several power outages in the mountain communities in Jefferson County have prompted the closure of school buildings in Evergreen and Conifer, according to an email sent out by Jeffco Public Schools.
As of Friday morning, Xcel Energy reported roughly 300 customers without power in the Evergreen and Conifer areas.
