Get Ready For Drug Take-Back Day On April 24: Get Rid Of Old, Unused Prescriptions

DENVER (CBS4) – The Drug Enforcement Administration's national Drug Take-Back Day is coming up on April 24. The yearly event allows people to safely dispose of prescription medications or over-the-counter drugs. The goal is to protect children, reduce drug abuse and keep tap water safe.

Multiple law enforcement agencies across Colorado are taking part in the event, including Denver, Aurora and Littleton police.
