DIA Prepares For Busy Spring Break Travel Season

DENVER (CBS4)- Denver International Airport is expecting a busy spring break travel season this year. DIA recommends that air travelers have plenty of time to check bags and get through security.

DIA projects the busiest days are Thursday and Friday this week and March 21, March 26, and March 28. The airport could see up to 50,000 passengers per day.

That's actually down 30% over the same time period in 2019, a year before the pandemic hit and nearly all travel was halted.
