First responders were unable to save the skier. He died at the scene. The county coroner's office was investigating the incident, and the skier's identity wasn't immediately released.

This is the second death at the resort in 48 hours. The Boulder Daily Camera reports a 26-year-old snowboarder died after crashing into a tree on the Jolly Jug Trail on Sunday.

Bystanders performed CPR on the man who later died at the resort.

Two teenagers reportedly collided while skiing the Jolly Jug Trail, the sheriff's office said. They were treated at the scene.

In January, a man in his 50s died after hitting a tree at the same resort on the Corona run.
