Erie Police Send Warning After 2 Vehicle Trespass Arrests Made

ERIE, Colo. (CBS4) - Erie police are reminding residents to lock their cars after they arrested two trespassing suspects recently. The first arrest happened on Feb. 17 on Blue Sky Circle and the second arrest happened Thursday morning at the Safeway on Arapahoe Road.

Both times officers were in the right place at the right time, but it serves as a good reminder to lock your cars.

Last year, Erie received 150 reports of motor vehicle trespasses. That's up significantly from 68 reports in 2019.
